
NJPW has released the schedule for its annual G1 Climax tournament.
The company’s major tour of the year begins on July 19 and runs for a month, with the final two nights taking place at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.

The G1 Climax began in 1991, and the round robin tournament has grown to become the most prestigious tournament on the calendar.
Zack Sabre Jr. won last year’s G1 but opted to cash in his title shot at King of Pro Wrestling in October, defeating Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
