Sabu’s retirement match at Joey Janela’s Spring Break will now include a significant stipulation.
On Saturday at the GCW Philly Special event, Janela announced that the match on April 18 with Sabu will be a No Ropes Barbed Wire match.
Janela had surgery in February for what he described as “the complete decimation of my dominant arm” and will be wrestling for the first time since the procedure.
A tag title match was added to Spring Break as Violence is Forever (Kevin Ku & Dominic Garrini) will defend the belts against Alec Price and a mystery partner. Price’s regular partner, Cole Radrick, recently underwent surgery for a torn ACL and is expected to be out for six to nine months.
