Mysterio approached Adam Pearce to get the match made.
There was a six-man tag on the 4/7 edition of Monday Night Raw featuring El Grande Americano and The Creed Brothers (Julius Creed & Brutus Creed) versus L.W.O. (Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde).
Ivy Nile handed El Grande a metal object to slip in between his mask that he could use to knock his opponents out via a headbutt. El Grande headbutted Rey Mysterio and then did the same to Dragon Lee which secured him and his team the win.
Later in the show, Mysterio approached Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and initially, Pearce thought Mysterio wanted a match against Chad Gable, but he said he wanted a match against El Grande at WrestleMania 41.
