GUNTHER reacts to the clip that was pushed out on social media.
One of the more recent guests to appear on WWE LFG on A&E was World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER. There was a moment when GUNTHER chatted with coaches Mickie James, Bully Ray, Booker T and The Undertaker.
Olympic gold medalist Tyra Mae Steele, who’s a member of Undertaker’s team was brought up. GUNTHER zeroed in on her and Undertaker mentioned that he saw that. GUNTHER did not understand how Steele does not recognize that she’s a ‘killer.’ He expressed that with The Undertaker being her coach, he should have helped her pick that up.
Initially, Undertaker was taken aback by the comment, but he admitted that GUNTHER was right. The World Heavyweight Champion joined Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on the Raw Recap podcast and spoke about the interaction.
Well, there’s no adrenaline rush with that (doing appearances like WWE LFG). I’ve been teaching and coaching people in professional wrestling since — I don’t know how long. Must be more than 10 years now and I know my experience in that and I know what I’m looking for in people and I think in that regard, I have more experience than Taker has himself. I don’t think he coached or trained a lot of people and it was my job that day to point out things I see and that’s what I did.
GUNTHER is gearing up for his next title defense at WrestleMania 41 where he’ll be defending against Jey Uso.
