Cargill speaks highly of her close friend.
It was two years ago that both Jade Cargill and Ricky Saints a.k.a. Ricky Starks were signed to All Elite Wrestling. Fast-forward to present day and both are signed to WWE.
Cargill and Saints have spoken about their close friendship and Cargill did so again during her appearance on WWE – Die Woche. She expressed how happy she is that Saints is NXT North American Champion.
I’m excited (for Ricky Saints). Seeing what he visualized. He’s a visionary and he sees what he wants and I’m so happy for him because he puts in so much work in this industry. He puts so much work, he cares so much… Actually, I’m gonna train with him on Sunday. We train together, we always train together. We give each other ideas and we really lean on one another for advice in this industry so, I’m excited. He’s gonna take over this industry. It’s just the beginning. I mean, he’s been here for what? Two months maybe? Maybe? A month? Two months? And he’s already obtained a title?… It’s only gonna keep on coming and coming and coming. So much gold is gonna keep on coming and coming. I’m proud of him, I’m so proud of him and he put his head down and he did the work and he’s gonna continue to do the work.
Cargill is gearing up to face Naomi in a singles match at WWE WrestleMania 41. It’ll be the first time two women will compete in a singles match at the event since WrestleMania 22 in 2006.
Ricky Saints is going to be in action that weekend at NXT Stand & Deliver. He’ll be defending his North American Title against the winner of a Fatal 4-Way that consists of Ethan Page, Wes Lee, Lexis King and Eddy Thorpe.
