Benjamin to be with AEW for the next several years.
It has been six months since Shelton Benjamin debuted for All Elite Wrestling alongside MVP. Weeks later, Bobby Lashley joined the mix and they would formally reintroduce themselves as The Hurt Syndicate.
While guest appearing on Huge Pop Radio, Benjamin revealed that he signed a three-year deal with AEW.
Uh, three years (Benjamin responded when asked how long he’s under contract to AEW).
As the conversation moved along, Benjamin was asked what he thinks the odds are that Cedric Alexander makes his way to AEW to reunite with The Hurt Syndicate. He said the following:
If I were a betting man — I feel like I’m the house so I can’t… I can’t reveal (he laughed).
Benjamin and Lashley are the reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions. Their latest title defense was at the Dynasty pay-per-view where they defeated Big Bill and Bryan Keith.
