The 13th installment of GCW/Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport is coming up.
Pearl Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada is playing host to Game Changer Wrestling/Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII on April 17th.
The complete match card is locked in and going into the show, Barnett revealed the event’s commentary team. On the call will be Tom Lawlor and Jimmy Smith. Smith is a combat sports commentator and was the lead announcer for WWE’s Monday Night Raw program.
Smith joined Busted Open and talked about the opportunity to call the action of Bloodsport.
Josh (Barnett) literally sent me a message a couple months ago and said, ‘Hey, can you do play-by-play for Bloodsport?’ And I went, ‘Yeah! Sure. I’d love to.’ I didn’t ask anything. I didn’t ask where it is, when is it. I’ve known Josh for a long time. Through MMA for years and years and years… And so when he asked me, ‘Hey, can you do it?’ ‘For you!? Anything.’ So, no problem at all…
