AEW Collision experienced a rise in its viewership figures as it achieved its fourth-highest performance of the year.

The April 12 episode from Springfield, Massachusetts, averaged 455,000 viewers and 163,000 viewers (0.12) in the 18-49 demographic on TNT and ranking fourth among cable originals on Saturday night.

Collision saw increases across the board, including a 52% bump in overall viewership, a 44% uptick in the 18-49 demographic, and a 22% jump in the 18-34 demo.

The only episodes of Collision that topped this past Saturday were the Grand Slam Australia show on Feb. 15 with the NBA All-Star lead-in, and the March 22 & 29 episodes with the lead-in from the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

Collision ranked fourth in prime time on cable behind the UFC 314 prelims on ESPN (1,028,000 viewers and 0.38 in the 18-49 demo), college hockey on ESPN 2 (594,000 viewers and 0.16), and House Hunters on HGTV.

Wrestlenomics notes that Collision had a lead-in from TNT’s airing of Avengers Endgame with 486,000 viewers and 0.13 in the demo.

The show featured three matches in the Owen Hart Cup Tournament, including Konosuke Takeshita vs. Brody King, Mercedes Moné vs. Harley Cameron, and Jamie Hayter vs. Billie Starkz.

Collision will air live this Thursday night and not on its normal night, to avoid airing head-to-head with the first night of WrestleMania 41.
