They’re looking for their opportunity.
The duo of Kayden Carter and Katana Chance have been teaming since 2018. Fast-forward to present day, they’ve gone on to capture the NXT Women’s Tag Team and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
A new interview with Carter was rolled out by Fred Richani of TSC Wrestling. Carter expressed her thought that herself and Chance would ‘show out’ if they got the opportunity to compete at a PLE.
It does (feel good to hear the crowd react to what Katana Chance & I do in the ring) because it’s like, the world can sit here and feel like… We haven’t had a lot of TV time as much as higher-up talents and whatnot and to know that we can have that effect on people and entertain people, it feels like we are doing the right thing. If they made no noise, then I’d be like, okay, then obviously we’re not doing something right or we’re not good or anything but, it pushes me. It gives me so much more fire inside because if you even gave us an opportunity, if we had one chance, I’m talking about a ‘Mania chance, a PLE chance, anything. When I say the fire that we have inside and we would show out. People are gonna be off their seats type of deal. We’re waiting, we’re waiting to unleash that cannon so, even just the little crowd and stuff like that, we know we’re doing our job and we know we’re getting people. Even though people think like, ‘Oh, maybe they’re not over. There’s no noise.’ I’m like, there’s noise! There’s always some noise and we’re gonna make sure of that. I don’t care what nobody says. They can talk all that crap they want to. Whatever. Fight me. Fight me if you don’t like it (she laughed).
The last Premium Live Event they competed at was NXT Vengeance Day in February 2023.
Chance and Carter are scheduled to compete on the SmackDown before WrestleMania 41. They’ll be tagging with Zelina Vega to take on The Green Regime (Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre & Piper Niven).
