The news was confirmed by MLW.
A story was sent out by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select and he noted that Satoshi Kojima recently had a benign tumor removed his head. Major League Wrestling confirmed the news to the outlet.
MLW added that Kojima is doing fine. A benign tumor is a non-cancerous growth that doesn’t spread to other parts of the body or invade nearby tissues.
The 54-year-old Kojima is currently one-half of the MLW World Tag Team Champions with Okumura. They are in the midst of their second reign which started in December 2024.
Kojima was last in action at MLW Battle Riot VII where he competed in the 40-man Battle Riot match.
