Max Caster is done with TNA Wrestling following a line in his rap at Sunday’s Bound for Glory event.
Caster made his promotional debut on Sunday and, during his rap on the way to the ring, stated, “I’m gonna drop bombs, you don’t even have to fly to Riyadh”, referencing the attacks in Saudi Arabia, which included twelve people being killed over the weekend.
The company issued an apology on Sunday, adding that Caster will no longer be wrestling for TNA:
During Sunday’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, insensitive comments were made by Max Caster referencing attacks in Riyadh that killed and injured many people.
Making light of violent attacks is wrong. This should never have made it into the show, and that responsibility is ours. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected. We sincerely apologize.
We have removed the segment from replays and our social channels and are taking steps to ensure something like this never happens again.
Max Caster will no longer be wrestling for TNA.
Caster had just become a free agent after wrestling for AEW since 2020. Moose issued an open challenge last Thursday on Impact, which was answered by Caster the following day on social media.
The line drew criticism immediately, and the False Finish outlet reported that TNA would no longer be working with Caster.
