Dorian Roldán interrupted Marisela Peña’s AAA Hall of Fame induction to announce Rey Mysterio’s suspension and accuse him of an affair with his mother.

The angle closed the November 7 edition of AAA and the third installment of Héroes Inmortales, which was taped October 24 at Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City.

Mysterio had been chosen to induct Peña, the sister of AAA founder Antonio Peña and the promotion’s longtime president. During his speech, he credited her with protecting her brother’s legacy and helping bring AAA onto a larger international stage.

Peña named Mysterio as AAA General Manager in May, passing over Roldán for the position.

As Peña began her acceptance speech, Roldán came to the ring and said he had received a ruling concerning Mysterio’s conduct as GM.

Roldán accused Mysterio of exposing AAA talent to dangerous working conditions in the United States, blaming him for injuries to El Hijo del Vikingo and Mini Vikingo. He also cited Mysterio’s attack on Omos at Ola de Calor, arguing that Omos was a paying spectator at the time because he had been suspended from AAA.

The third allegation concerned Mysterio exceeding his authority. Roldán pointed to his decision to act as referee during the Mega Championship match at TripleMania 34, as well as his subsequent involvement in El Grande Americano’s title defense against Dominik Mysterio at Héroes Inmortales.

Roldán then announced that Mysterio had been suspended indefinitely from his position as General Manager, saying the decision came from a higher authority.

He subsequently made the dispute personal, questioning why his mother had selected Mysterio for the role instead of him.

Roldán claimed he had investigated the matter and had proof that Mysterio was having an extramarital relationship with Peña. He directly accused Mysterio of sleeping with his mother before leaving the ring, bringing the show to a close.
