Austin states that if Cody Rhodes needs some assistance, he’ll be there.
Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada is playing host to WWE’s WrestleMania 41 in April 2025. In a prior media appearance, Stone Cold Steve Austin expressed that since he resides in the state, he’d be open to being at the event(s).
While sitting down with Adrian Hernandez, Austin confirmed that he was asked about appearing at WrestleMania XL and it was close to happening. He added that he hopes to be at the 2025 WrestleMania and if Cody Rhodes needs backup, he’ll be there.
Oh, it was close (Steve Austin said about him almost appearing at WrestleMania XL) and they certainly reached out to me and we had conversations but my wife and I had some things going on that I didn’t need to go to Philly at that time. But I have said, I missed that ‘Mania and God dang, Philly was a good town for me back in the day and I appreciate those fans. Couldn’t make it down on that one but, WrestleMania this year’s in Vegas and I was doing an interview a while back and I said, ‘Hey man –’ and that’s 400 miles. That’s like right here, where we’re sitting. Right down the road. I’m fixing to drive back to Reno in my buggy. But anyway, it’ll be in Vegas so, I hope to be there this year. If he (Cody Rhodes) needs another hand, I mean, I’ll be there.
The main event of WrestleMania XL was a Bloodline Rules match between Rhodes and then-Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns.
It featured appearances from Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, John Cena, The Rock, Seth Rollins and The Undertaker.
