In a surprise on Saturday’s All Japan Pro Wrestling card, Yuma Aoyagi became the Triple Crown by unseating Yuma Anzai.

The Summer Action Wars card from Tokyo saw Aoyagi become a two-time Triple Crown winner by defeating Anzai in 26 minutes and 41 seconds using The Fool to regain the championship.

It ended Anzai’s first reign as champion after 4 ½ months and made five defenses of the Triple Crown.

Aoyagi previously held the Triple Crown last year when he unseated Yuji Nagata and held it for four months before losing to Katsuhiko Nakajima.

After his win, Kento Miyahara entered the ring to challenge Aoyagi for the Triple Crown. |

The show drew 2,031 to Arena Tachikawa and included Jun & Rei Saito retaining the All Japan tag titles against Suwama & Hideki Suzuki, and MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka defeating Ryo Inoue & Dan Tamura to retain the All-Asia tag titles.
