For the next few years, Paige is going to be with NWA.

August 27th, 2024 marks one year since Kenzie Paige ended Kamille’s 812-day reign as NWA World Women’s Champion at the NWA 75th Anniversary Show. Paige is still in possession of the title one year later as she heads into the 76th Anniversary Show.

Ahead of the special, she guest appeared on the Hitting The Turnbuckle Podcast. Paige discussed signing her multi-year contract with NWA and confirmed that her sister Kylie Paige signed a multi-year deal as well. She stated that whenever the time comes for them to move forward with their careers, they’ll have set a new standard in the NWA.

We want to still put on the best thing that we can do and raise the bar at NWA and raise NWA to a standard that we all know we can be at. So me and Kylie (Paige), you know, we’re there for a few more years. We re-signed the contract. So our goal for the next few years is to really raise that bar and whenever we do leave, there is gonna be a standard for the NWA and you’re gonna have to get to that bar. So, I think that’s the thing is we all have one common — well, most of us have a common goal of we have to get eyes on us and we have to set the bar, raise the standard every time.

Praise was heaped on Paige’s name by WWE’s Chelsea Green. Chelsea stated that she’d be surprised if Kenzie was not in NXT in 2025.

Kenzie touched on the possibility of sharing the ring with Green again. Their first go-round was on an episode of Powerrr in February 2022. Kenzie said Green is a great person and the goal is to cross paths down the line or maybe collaborate with NXT. NWA programming airs on The CW app and NXT is moving to The CW Network in October

I mean, that would be awesome, that would be amazing (to share the screen with Chelsea Green again). I hope I am like her honestly. She’s on the platform that she’s on and the person that she is, she’s such a good person at heart. I really hope when I make it to that point, I keep that same mentality that she has. She’s an inspiration. The fact that she’s on that platform and she uses her interview time to talk about me, to mention me, you can’t ask for a better person — I wanna cry but, she’s such a good person. That’ll be the goal is to meet Chelsea Green on down the line and hopefully, you know, even if I am NWA World Women’s Champion, maybe to do something with Chelsea Green or NXT or something like that and kind of shift those two things together but, let the world decide that, let God decide that. But that would be awesome. I would be up for the challenge, and I hope I’m the one that would be sent out to represent the NWA if that was the case.

The NWA 76th Anniversary Show is taking place on August 31st from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kenzie will be in a champion versus champion match against Television Champion Max the Impaler.
