GUNTHER addresses past comments about not wanting to move to USA: “It had to be done”

He feels at some point, there would’ve been nothing left for him to accomplish in Europe.

It was at SummerSlam that GUNTHER captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. His first title defense is coming up at the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event against Randy Orton.

Ahead of the PLE, GUNTHER is in Germany competing at house shows and making the local media rounds. One of the outlets that interviewed him was Bild. He was asked about his past comments about not wanting to move to the U.S.A. and here was his response: 

But at some point, I couldn’t achieve anything more in Europe. It had to be done. (GUNTHER said about his move to the USA).
