A segment with GUNTHER, Zayn and Bret.
Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was in attendance for Monday Night Raw in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. His appearance started out with an in-ring segment with commentators Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett. He spoke about being prideful as a Canadian champion and Canadians never ducking a challenge.
Out came the WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER. He said Bret is the best there ever was, but he’s the best there is and best there ever will be. He went on to say that Bret is a ‘close second’ to his true all-time favorite, Bill Goldberg. In all of Hart’s media appearances, he never minces words when it comes to his thoughts about Goldberg.
Joining the mix was fellow Canadian Sami Zayn. He once again asked GUNTHER for a shot at the World Title as GUNTHER denied him on the 9/2 show.
GUNTHER denied Zayn again, but Bret called him a ‘gutless yellow coward.’ GUNTHER attempted to approach Bret, but it led to a brawl between him and Sami.
