Milwaukee looking to host Money in the Bank.

Milwaukee Business Journal has a story up which notes that Sports Milwaukee is putting together a bid for WWE to bring the 2025 installment of their Money in the Bank Premium Live Event to the city. That information was relayed to the outlet by Sports Milwaukee Director Marissa Werner. If it comes to fruition, the event will take place at Fiserv Forum.

City officials have previously shown interest in hosting WWE Premium Live Events. Mayor Cavalier Johnson told the Business Journal that he’s a ‘huge WWE fan’ and the city had been in talks with the company about Milwaukee hosting a large-scale event.

The bid for Money in the Bank comes earlier than when they expected to pursue a WWE show. Milwaukee has hosted the 2012 Elimination Chamber and 2017 Fastlane events. The hope for Sports Milwaukee is that after securing Money in the Bank, it could lead to a bigger Premium Live Event down the road. Werner is aiming for a SummerSlam or Royal Rumble.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown is emanating from Milwaukee on November 15th. The company ran a show in the city this past March.
