Williams versus Page is official.

Headlining the 9/10 NXT was the Last Man Standing match between Trick Williams and Pete Dunne. The winner would secure a shot at Ethan Page’s NXT Championship at the CW premiere show on October 1st in Rosemont, Illinois.

The backend of the match saw Dunne send himself and Williams off a structure with a Side Russian Leg Sweep. They went crashing through a table.

Williams made his way to his feet before the 10-count, but NXT Champion Ethan Page came out and began shouting at Dunne to get up. He tried to charge at Trick to knock him down, but Trick flipped him onto and through the announce table.

He won the match and with Williams’ victory, he’s challenging Page for the NXT Title on October 1st. They’ll have a contract signing on 9/17.
