The first winner of the tournament.
From August 31st through September 28th, Dream Star Fighting Marigold hosted the first installment of their Dream Star Grand Prix.
The main event saw the winner of the Dream League face-off against the winner of the Star League. That bout was Utami Hayashishita (Dream) versus Mai Sakurai (Star). Utami finished Sakurai off with a German suplex and a lariat to win the bout in 16 minutes.
She was presented with a trophy by Marigold founder Rossy Ogawa. With the win, she secured a shot at Sareee’s Marigold World Championship.
