New Japan Pro-Wrestling promoted that at their Destruction in Kobe show, the newest member of the T.M.D.K. faction would be revealed.
The set up for the unveiling was a six-man tag. Zack Sabre Jr. and Kosei Fujita made their entrance and then joining them for the bout would be Ryohei Oiwa. Over the last year, Oiwa competed in Pro Wrestling NOAH. His final match for the promotion was against GHC Heavyweight Champion Kaito Kiyomiya, who invited him to NOAH in 2023.
Oiwa, Sabre Jr. and Fujita defeated SANADA, Taichi and TAKA Michinoku. Oiwa got the pinfall victory on Michinoku.
