Danielson calls out Okada.
All Elite Wrestling is celebrating five years of their weekly Dynamite program on October 2nd. As the show date inches closer, a new match was set up for the show.
Taking to his Instagram, Bryan Danielson uploaded a video of himself that started off by him saying ‘f*ck Jon Moxley,’ who he is scheduled to defend the AEW World Championship against at WrestleDream.
Danielson switched his focus over to the Five Year Anniversary edition of Dynamite and called on Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada to challenge him for the title. The match is official and both championships will be on the line. AEW clarified that Okada’s title will only be up for grabs for the first 20 minutes of the match.
Okada and Danielson are tied 1-1 in singles matches. Danielson got the first win at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023 and Okada got his win at Wrestle Kingdom 18 in January.
