Hayashishita earned her right to call her shot at a title match.
Dream Star Fighting Marigold wrapped up the first installment of their Dream Star Grand Prix tournament. The final saw Utami Hayashishita best Mai Sakurai.
With her win came a trophy and a certificate that locks her in for a shot at the Marigold World Championship. There was a press conference held on 10/1 and Hayashishita said she’ll be challenging for the belt at Marigold ‘First Dream’ on January 3rd at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo.
The reigning Marigold World Champion is Sareee and she fell in defeat to Bozilla on the final day of the Grand Prix. It was her first loss in the promotion and Sareee has demanded she get a rematch against Bozilla.
