WWE NXT notes: New talent en route, new belt designs, Paul Levesque & Shawn Michaels start show, 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne’s song

A vignette aired to promote the arrival of a new talent that is en route to NXT. In the vignette, the talent was headed down a road and the numbers on the sign above were ’10’ and ’27.’ 10/27 is the date of NXT Halloween Havoc in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Starting off the show was Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, Shawn Michaels. He revealed new designs for the NXT Title and NXT Women’s Championship. Joining him in the ring was Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque to hype up the crowd.

The 10/8 show is emanating from Chesterfield, Missouri and it is official that there will be a special performance from St. Louis native Sexyy Red.

Wes Lee scored the win over Zachary Wentz in their Street Fight.

The new theme for NXT on CW is ‘Millions From Now’ by 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne.

On 10/8, Randy Orton will be going one-on-one with Je’Von Evans. There was a video package that aired to promote the match and Orton said he wants to hit Evans with an RKO that’ll ‘blow everyone’s socks off.’

Tony D’Angelo and North American Champion Oba Femi appeared on Miz TV ahead of their title match in Missouri.
