The idea of Priest versus Femi is intriguing to Priest.
Prior to WWE Bad Blood, there was a Fanatics Live signing held (via UpUpDownDown) with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley.
As the signing went on, Priest was asked who from the NXT roster is he looking forward to one day mixing it up with. He named the reigning North American Champion Oba Femi, adding that he thinks Femi will turn out to be a megastar.
He was legit one of the first ones that came to mind when you asked the question (Priest said when reacting to idea of match between himself & Oba Femi). Ridiculously impressive, right? Especially the fact that his limited time in the business and what he can do already. That’s gonna be a megastar. You can just tell sometimes and I mean, it’s all set up for him to just — he just has not take his foot off the gas but, he’s gonna be fine so, I feel like that’s gonna inevitably happen anyway… Yeah, I’m not looking forward to that one (he laughed).
When Ripley was asked the same question, she named DELTA. A vignette promoting her suspected arrival aired during the NXT on CW premiere. Priest added that he met DELTA at the WWE Performance Center.
