WWE Raw notes: CM Punk not sure what’s next for him & is confronted by Rollins, Women’s Tag Title bout set, Jey Uso retains

Fresh off of defeating Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood, CM Punk appeared on Monday Night Raw. He expressed that he is unsure of what’s next for him. He thanked his supporters, colleagues and the people who hate him. He wants those people to keep doubting him. As Punk was wrapping up, Seth Rollins came out. They went face-to-face and Rollins shoulder checked Punk on his way to the ring. He wished Punk a speedy recovery from his Hell in a Cell wounds and added that the sooner he gets back, the sooner he can put hands on Punk. Rollins went on to call out Bronson Reed for a one-on-one match and said Reed can chose the location and time.

It is official that on 10/14, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will be defending the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Damage CTRL’s Kairi Sane and IYO SKY.

Jey Uso successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods. Post-match, Woods opted not to shake Uso’s hand. Bron Breakker appeared and speared Jey. Kofi Kingston, who was ringside, wanted to help Jey but Woods tried to prevent him from doing so. Kingston went in the ring to fight off Breakker but got speared as well. Breakker eventually made his way over to Woods and speared him. He took Jey down again and then held up the Intercontinental Title. Breakker versus Kingston is set for 10/14.

There was a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook match between Sheamus and Pete Dunne. Sheamus got the win despite his hands being zip-tied together.

Airing on WWE’s YouTube channel on 10/9 is a look at CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s Hell in a Cell match. The song over the video will be House of Protection’s ‘It’s Supposed to Hurt.’

Adding on to the 10/14 lineup is a singles match between The Miz and R-Truth. Miz ambushed his now-former partner on 9/30.
