A pair of WWE NXT house shows originally scheduled to take place this weekend have been delayed due to Hurricane Milton.

An October 11 card in St. Petersburg, Florida, plus an October 12 show in Orlando have been pushed to later this year, as recently announced by the promotion. The move comes as the Category 4 storm begins to hit Florida’s Central Gulf Coast this week, per CNN.

The upcoming St. Petersburg show has been delayed to December 20, and the Orlando card will take place at a much sooner date of November 2.

NXT will have to keep monitoring the hurricane in the days to come, as the brand is based out of WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando and has a large majority of its roster residing in nearby areas.

It was recently reported by PWInsider that the “entire WWE NXT crew” is expected to stay in St. Louis, Missouri beyond the show’s Tuesday night taping in the city and through to Friday evening due to the storm.

Various counties in Florida have put evacuation orders in place, and some officials like the mayor of Tampa have gone as far as to warn residents that they “are going to die” if they decide to remain in place. A full list of evacuation orders can be read here.

The brand is also keeping an eye on whether next week’s show can proceed. Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan reported on Wednesday that there is “uncertainty” regarding a taping next week being able to take place.
