William Regal offers to be Lexis King’s cornerman for NXT Heritage Cup match against Charlie Dempsey

It is official that on the post-Halloween Havoc edition of NXT on CW that Lexis King is going to challenge Charlie Dempsey for the Heritage Cup.

Going into the match, King struggled to find a cornerman to back him while Dempsey has No Quarter Catch Crew (Tavion Heights, Wren Sinclair & Myles Borne) backing him. He was interviewed backstage at Halloween Havoc and stated that it’s difficult for one to change their perception and he has not had any luck finding someone to back him.

Entering the frame was Vice President of Global Talent Development and former NXT General Manager, William Regal. He spoke about his history with King’s father, Brian Pillman. 

Regal offered to corner King in the Heritage Cup match against his own son, Charlie Dempsey.
