Abadon will be given a chance to end the incredibly lengthy reign of ROH Women’s World Champion Athena this week, facing off as part of the October 31 episode of ROH on HonorClub.

Abadon is receiving the title shot after crashing a celebration by Athena last week. Athena was celebrating becoming the longest-reigning singles champion in ROH history.
Athena has held the ROH women’s title since late 2022. If successful later this week, she’ll have defended her title two dozen times since first beginning her 690-day run as champ.
Abadon has become a regular in ROH this year, appearing on the show’s weekly TV 12 times since January.
While the upcoming matchup will be the first time Abadon has met Athena inside an ROH or AEW ring, the two have a prior history. They previously met on indie shows in 2019 and 2022, both earning a win before.
