Some wrestlers are beginning to consider potential matchups for the collaborative “Wrestle Dynasty” Tokyo Dome card set for January 5.
The show, which will to be a collaboration between NJPW, AEW, CMLL, ROH and Stardom, sees promotions from all around the world come together for a big show, opening up opportunities for some matchups that haven’t been made before.
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion DOUKI recently stated that he wants to face Sammy Guevara as part of the early 2025 card. He officially announced his hopes to face the AEW talent as part of a promo following his match on Wednesday night.

Due to only appearing in one prior AEW match – a 2023 Rampage appearance against Jack Perry – there are still many crossover possibilities for DOUKI. Among them, a bout three-time TNT Champion Guevara.
The recent comments aren’t the first time DOUKI has asked for said fight. In an interview last month with Planeta Wrestling, he mentioned the matchup as well.
