The injury happened during her tour with CMLL.

Freelancer Unagi Sayaka revealed that she’s out of action for the time being due to a fractured rib. She is the reigning CMLL Japan Women’s Champion and went on a tour with CMLL in October.

In the Grand Prix match on 10/25, she took a knee from an opponent that connected with the side of her body and fractured her rib. During that same tour, Willow Nightingale went down with a concussion.

Sayaka was scheduled to wrestle at the 11/4 Pro Wrestling WAVE show in Japan. Although she could not compete, she showed up to inform the audience of her injury.

It has not been determined when Sayaka will make her in-ring return.
