It looks like we’re soon going to learn one of the first names to join the new WWE Independent Development (ID) program.

The official WWE ID account released a social media post on Tuesday, teasing that a member of the prospect training program will be revealed at this Sunday’s Reality of Wrestling card in Texas City, Texas.

“Someone’s been ID’d,” they wrote. “Be there this Sunday to find out who.”

The WWE ID program, which was announced last month, is a new system put in place by the promotion to scout and develop wrestlers on the independent scene.

Per the WWE’s recruitment site, the system will “identify the top independent wrestling prospects with an official ‘WWE ID Prospect’ designation and support their developmental journey.”

Last week, sources told Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling that “several independent wrestlers have deals” with the brand already, although none have been officially announced just yet.

Reality of Wrestling is one of five wrestling schools that the program has announced a partnership with.
