The Hurt Syndicate Opens Dynamite

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and introduces The Hurt Syndicate. MVP appreciates the introduction but says he doesn’t believe he needs one and tells Schiavone that he can go. MVP says this is an official announcement from The Hurt Syndicate and introduces his business partners and brothers-in-arms, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. He continues by saying their goal is to enrich the lives of younger talent and help them realize their greater potential. If he should offer them a Hurt Syndicate business card, that card is their golden ticket to success, if you accept it, it can change your life and if you reject it, this is what happens as they show last week’s beatdown on Swerve Strickland & Prince Nana. They didn’t want to make an enemy out of Swerve, but he wanted to make an enemy out of them, which prompted Swerve’s music to hit.

Swerve comes out with a chain and Nana, but the referees are there at the ramp to hold him back. Swerve gets on the mic and just says ‘Bobby Lashley, Full Gear’, as MVP says they will see him there.

Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli & PAC) (w/ Wheeler Yuta) vs. Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin

We get the official graphic and music for the Death Riders, as Claudio Castagnoli & PAC come through the crowd along with Wheeler Yuta in their corner. As Orange Cassidy comes out for his entrance, Claudio & PAC go up to meet him, just to be taken out by Darby Allin with a dive from the top of the tunnel. They start fighting on the outside before the bell rings, as PAC & Orange get in the ring to start the match officially. Orange & PAC fight on the top rope, before Orange pushes him off and hits a DDT, as Claudio is there to break it up. Claudio goes to town to Orange with a bunch of backbreakers before going back to his corner, as we go to picture-in-picture.

We come back to see Orange make the hot tag to Darby, to a big reaction from the crowd. Darby takes PAC to the outside and hits him with a Coffin Drop, before entering back in and trying a dive onto Claudio just to be caught. Darby escapes out of a Giant Swing attempt but ends up getting dropped hard with a back body drop for a two-count. PAC  & Claudio stay on top of Darby, as both he and Orange seem to be struggling. PAC & Claudio tag in and out and take turns attacking Darby in the corner before PAC hits a brainbuster for two. Darby eventually escapes and tags out to Orange, who starts sending PAC head-first into the turnbuckles followed by a cross body to PAC and a DDT attempt on Claudio, which he turns into a Stundog Millionaire followed by a Code Red from Darby. Orange takes out PAC & Claudio with topes on the outside before Darby does the same to PAC. Orange follows with a Tornado DDT on PAC, but Wheeler Yuta runs in and gets taken out with an Orange Punch. Orange hits another one to Claudio and goes to hit one to PAC, but Marina Shafir runs out and takes out the referee. Jon Moxley runs out but Darby is there to take him out with his skateboard as the bell rings throwing the match out.

Winner: The match ends in a no-contest at 13:32

The Death Riders continue to attack Darby & Claudio after including Claudio sending Darby right into the ring post. The Conglomeration comes out for their match next, as the Death Riders escape through the crowd.

Secrets & Good Luck

Renee Paquette is in the back with Ricochet and asks who his mystery partner tonight could be, which he says he will have to keep a secret until later tonight. The Hurt Syndicate enter the picture and surround him, as Ricochet tells MVP that they talked already. MVP says they just wanted to wish him a good look.

Fight Without Honor: The Conglomeration (Kyle O’Reilly, Mark Briscoe & Tomohiro Ishii) vs. The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Big Bill & Bryan Keith)

Chairs in the ring, with tables outside as they all brawl to start this Fight Without Honor match. Mark Briscoe & Chris Jericho fight on the apron, as Jericho escapes from a Jay Triller through the table attempt. Instead, Tomohiro Ishii grabs Jericho and puts him through a table with a backbody drop. Briscoe sets a chair in the corner, that he uses to dive onto Big Bill with. Kyle O’Reilly & Bryan Keith fight on the apron and end up crashing onto the table on the outside. Briscoe sets up a ladder against the barricade, but Bill sends Briscoe into it with a chokeslam as we go to picture-in-picture.

When we come back, Jericho & Briscoe are having a chair battle, before everybody else runs in as Bill takes out O’Reilly with the Bossman Slam. Briscoe & Ishii start chopping away at Jericho, before Keith stops them with a kendo stick, as O’Reilly & Bill are seen going towards the back. Briscoe grabs Jericho from the corner and hits him with a powerbomb, as Ishii takes out Keith a superplex. We see Bill & O’Reilly fighting by the stage equipment and trying to chokeslam him onto a table, but O’Reilly counters with a guillotine before they go crashing through two tables together. Back in the ring, Jericho stops Briscoe with a dropkick with a ladder in between, but Briscoe dodges a chair shot and hits the Jay Driller. Briscoe climbs a very tall ladder and hits the Froggy Bow to Jericho through a table, but Keith is there to break it up. Ishii takes out Jericho with a sliding lariat, followed by the brainbuster to get the pin and the win.

Winners: The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly & Tomohiro Ishii) by pinfall at 13:38

Time To Stop Playing

We see The Death Riders leaving, as Jon Moxley tells Orange Cassidy that Wheeler Yuta doesn’t owe Orange anything just for being friends. Being a nice guy doesn’t buy loyalty, and he isn’t his friend or student and doesn’t belong to Bryan Danielson, Orange, or anybody else as he’s a soldier. He calls Darby Allin a disappointment and says maybe it’s time for them to stop playing at the thing people think he takes seriously, as they walk off.

Adam Cole vs. Malakai Black

They go right away trying to take each other down in the middle of the ring before Malakai Black catches Adam Cole’s foot and just puts it down saying he doesn’t want his injured ankle as they shake hands. Malakai takes down Cole with a wrist lock before they trade off arm drags. Cole goes to the outside to take a breather, but as Malakai goes after him, he gets sent into the barricade. Back inside, Cole sends Malakai into the corner, but Malakai stops him with a knee strike. Cole goes back to the outside and as Malakai tries to dive into him, Cole stops him with a superkick as we go to picture-in-picture.

We come back, just in time to see Cole get a two-count as Malakai is holding onto his neck. Cole comes back with a Panama Sunrise but runs right into a knee from Malakai for two. They start trading kicks and punches before Malakai sweeps Cole, and heads to the top rope where Cole joins him just to get hit with another knee. Cole comes back with a superkick before Malakai hits another kick. Cole goes for The Boom but runs right into The End, as Cole kicks out at two to boos from the crowd followed by a small ‘that was three’ chant. They fight in the corner where Cole hits the Panama Sunrise followed by a superkick, but falls back down after hitting another one. As Malakai stumbles to get up, he tells Cole to hit him with The Boom, which he does to get the pin and the win.

Winner: Adam Cole by pinfall at 12:47

“I Need You To Pay Someone A Visit”

We cut to Kyle O’Reilly watching on from the back, while being worked on by the trainer. Cole extends his hand out as Malakai gets up and hugs him instead. Cole gets on the mic and says that Malakai is one of the very best he fought in his 16-year career and thanks him. Cole then tells MJF that two down, and one more to go while Roderick Strong still has to win two more matches. Cole says MJF thinks he put roadblocks in front of him, and that’s not the case, and talks about if he and Strong both win three matches, what would happen? Tony Khan told him that when both Cole & Strong get three wins, it’ll be MJF vs. them in a triple-threat match. Cole ends it by saying that MJF will get an ass-kicking from The Undisputed Kingdom. We cut to MJF in his home, angrily watching on before he gets on his phone and tells the other line that he needs him to pay someone a visit.

Make The Hangman Tap Out

Renee is in the back with Jay White who responds to the threats ‘Hangman’ Adam Page said to him last week, but before he can go far, he gets attacked by Page as they take it down to the stage. White fights back and goes for a chair shot, but gets stopped and tossed into the barricade instead. Page traps White’s ankle in between the barricade and goes to hit it with a chair, but Juice Robinson runs out with a chair to stop him. White gets freed and sends Page into the ring. Page escapes out of the ring and runs through the crowd, as White gets on the mic and says he is going to beat, embarrass, and dismantle Page at Full Gear, and he will have fun doing it while the fans will have fun watching him do it. White says Page has never been ahead of him and never will be, and at Full Gear, maybe he will be the first to make the Hangman tap out.

“You Missed Her!”

Renee is in the back with Kris Statlander as it’s official that she’ll be challenging Mercedes Mone’ for the TBS Championship at Full Gear. Statlander says she will win the title and as she walks away, we hear a car sound with Statlander on the floor. We see Kamille & Mercedes in a car, as Mercedes screams to Kamille that she missed her and tells her to go get her. Statlander takes out both Kamille & Mercedes against the car before officials separate them.

Why Did Christian Take Out Taz?

The Patriarchy makes its way to the ring, as Christian Cage has his own personal security watching the ring. Cage says the security is for everybody’s protection and formally welcomes Kip Sabian to The Patriarchy and says he realized that Sabian was just trying to get his attention as he’s a fatherless loser just looking for some guidance. Christian cuts to when Sabian stole the pen from Cage a couple of weeks ago and says Sabian had the foresight to see that if Cage signed the contract the Death Riders would have interfered and caused him the match. And because of Sabian, Cage can stand here still as the next undisputed AEW World Champion and in that moment Sabian did more for him than any of his other sons did to him and brings in Sabian for a hug, as Nick Wayne watches in confusion. Hook makes his way out and says whatever Christian has to say, to make it good and fast, because he doesn’t have much patience. Christian says that Hook is a problem and an ass-kicker and says what happened weeks ago to him wasn’t an attack, as he needs a son like him and had to make sure he was disciplined to fall in line. Christian admits that he took out Taz from a place of love and caring, as he couldn’t have another voice in his ear. Christian says that Taz saw his face and asks why he didn’t just tell Hook that it was him. It’s simple, as even Taz knows that Christian can take him to heights in this business and starts talking about how when Taz moved to the big lights and buckled under the pressure and hid behind the announce table. Christian asks if Hook wants to be an announcer like his father or a world champion like Christian Cage. Christian says nobody cares if Taz is alive and he needs Hook, and says he wishes his father was dead. Hook charges through the security and goes after Cage, but the security separates them. Hook takes out the security with suplexes as Christian is laughing on from the ramp calling Hook a ‘wild card’.

MJF Needs Don Callis

Alex Marvez is in the back with Don Callis who talks about Brian Cage & Lance Archer being dominant, before a big unknown guy walks in and hands Callis an envelope and a box, as he plays a message from MJF saying that he needs Callis to take care of some business for him, as Callis reveals it’s the Dynamite Diamond ring that he puts on, that MJF told him not to scratch up.

Penelope Ford vs. Jamie Hayter

As Jamie Hayter enters the ring, she gets attacked from behind by Penelope Ford to start the match. Hayter dodges Ford in the corner and hits a backdrop before she mounts her with punches. Hayter keeps Ford in the corner with kicks and chops, but Ford stops her momentum with a pump kick. Ford hit the backhand spring elbow followed by a suplex for a two. Ford stays on top of her with a dropkick to the back for another two before she heads to the top where she misses the moonsault press. Hayter stops her with a dropkick followed by a brain buster. Ford dodges the lariat and hits a cutter, for a two-count. They go back and forth before Hayter hits the Hayterade out of nowhere to get the pin and the win.

Winner: Jamie Hayter by pinfall at 4:38

Mina Is Coming Next Week

We get a video of Mina Shirakawa saying that she is coming next week, but the screen briefly turns black and white as a QR code flashes on the screen.

International Star

We get a video for Kazuchika Okada showing his highlights in both NJPW and AEW, with words from Jim Ross & Excalibur, as Okada is getting ready to defend his title in the Continental Classic. Okada talks down on Masahiro Chono as well, saying he was not an international star.

Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita vs. Ricochet & Powerhouse Hobbs

Ricochet gets on the mic and says that Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita made a mistake in allowing him to choose any partner. Ricochet says he found out that as of October 4th, someone’s contract with The Don Callis Family expired and brings out his real pissed-off partner in Powerhouse Hobbs. Ricochet & Hobbs run in and go after Takeshita & Fletcher to start the match. Ricochet gets taken out on the outside as Hobbs takes down Takeshita & Fletcher in the ring. Ricochet & Hobbs stay in control on the outside. Back in the ring, Ricochet gets on Hobbs shoulders and moonsaults off of him to the outside onto Fletcher & Takeshita. As the referee holds Hobbs back, Takeshita & Fletcher are able to take control over Ricochet as we go to picture-in-picture.

When we return, we see Adam Cole watching on as we find out he will take on Konosuke Takeshita next week on Dynamite. Hobbs takes out both Fletcher & Takeshita in the corner with a big splash, before placing Takeshita on the top rope where he hits an avalanche power slam, that Fletcher is there to break up. Hobbs drops the straps and tries a spine buster, but Takeshita escapes and hits a big elbow strike. Hobbs eats it as he and Takeshita start exchanging for elbows. Takeshita hits a German Suplex, but Hobbs comes right back with a big clothesline. Fletcher catches Ricochet off the ropes and hits a sitout powerbomb for two. Ricochet reverses Takeshita off the top rope with a hurricanrana, before he heads back to the top rope, but misses the 450 Splash and runs into the jumping knee from Takeshita. They go back and forth before Ricochet gets on Takeshita’s shoulders for a poison rana, but gets taken out with a Doomsday Device from Fletcher. Ricochet dodges another knee strike and hits a couple of kicks but Fletcher is there to hold him. Hobbs takes out Fletcher on the outside, before taking the bullet for Ricochet from Takeshita. Ricochet stays in control and hits a Shooting Star Press, but Takeshita kicks out. Ricochet follows this with his new finisher he calls the Spirit Gun to get the pin and the win over the International Champion.

Winner: Ricochet & Powerhouse Hobbs by pinfall at 14:36

Will Ospreay Returns

Fletcher takes out Hobbs & Ricochet with chair shots. Before he can continue, Mark Davis runs out and stops him. They get into a shoving match, but Lance Archer and Brian Cage run out and take out Davis. Adam Cole runs out, but Takeshita is there to stop him at the top of the stage as they head to the back. Back inside, Fletcher is about to take out Davis with the screwdriver, but Will Ospreay makes his return to stop them. Hobbs & Ricochet join in and go after Fletcher, but he’s able to escape from a Hidden Blade attempt from Ospreay.

As the show goes off the air, they announce the Death Riders will defend the AEW World Trios Championship against The Conglomeration on Collision this Saturday.
