Nic Nemeth will try to get past a TNA Wrestling veteran to keep his reign as world champion alive.

Nemeth is booked to meet Eddie Edwards at the promotion’s Turning Point event on November 29, per a recent announcement. The matchup, which will stream live on TNA+, is set to go down at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Nemeth has been a fighting champion since capturing the TNA World Championship at Slammiversary in July. He has retained his belt five times over the past 100 or so days, beating prominent figures like Mustafa Ali, Josh Alexander and Moose. His most recent title match came at Bound For Glory, when he beat viral sensation Joe Hendry in 15 minutes.

Edwards will search for his third world title reign in TNA when he meets Nemeth in a singles bout. While he has mainly competed as a tag team wrestler as of late, putting together a pair of title reigns alongside Brian Myers as The System, Edwards is being granted a title shot after scoring a pinfall win over Nemeth in a recent tag bout.
