CM Punk thinks his relationship with Roman Reigns will play out on WWE TV

Punk thinks a lot of unanswered questions will play out on television.

The last time CM Punk was featured on WWE television was on the Raw after he defeated Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood.

Punk told the audience that he does not know when he’ll be back and before exiting the stage area, he was interrupted by Seth Rollins and the two went face-to-face. During Punk’s chat with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, he stated that he thinks a lot of questions having to do with him and Seth Rollins and the status of his relationship with Roman Reigns will play out on TV.

They (The Shield) came here and made a whole ton of waves in a short amount of time and my relationship with all those guys was pretty good. I just had to get the hell out of here. For my own sanity… Absence makes the heart grow fonder. I think a lot of the questions you have like, ‘Oh, what is Punk’s relationship with Roman? What does Punk feel about Seth?’ I think all that stuff’s gonna play out on television because that’s what I do.

It is coming up on a full year since Punk’s return to WWE at Survivor Series. He reviewed his first year back. With the triceps injury factored in, Punk thinks they were able to ‘turn chicken sh*t into chicken salad.’

I mean, aside from the whole triceps injury and the surgery… But we really turned chicken sh*t into chicken salad with that one. Almost a little bit of (a) gift. I think people forget that I was hurt because I was such a focal point. Just doing what we do. Entertaining people. I don’t wanna grade myself. I leave that to the fans and my peers, the people I work for. They can go ahead and grade it. I’ve had the time of my life though coming back. I weigh this past year up against any year of my entire career.

Punk is being advertised for WWE’s Madison Square Garden house show on December 26th.
