STARDOM announces tournament to select International Women’s Cup entrant for Wrestle Dynasty

STARDOM will hold a 16-woman tournament to decide who will represent the promotion in the International Women’s Cup finals at Wrestle Dynasty.

The January 5th finals at the Tokyo Dome will see a wrestler from AEW, Ring of Honor, CMLL and STARDOM compete in a four-way match to become the first holder of the trophy.

On Friday, STARDOM announced a series of four-way matches to be held on Friday, December 20th and Saturday, December 21st.

  • Hanan vs. Yuna Mizumori vs. Momo Watanabe vs. Saki Kashima
  • Syuri vs. Saya Iida vs. Fukigen Death vs. Ranna Yagami
  • Koguma vs. Waka Tsukiyama vs. Tomoka Inaba vs. Rina
  • Konami vs. Suzu Suzuki vs. Hina vs. Aya Sakura

The winners of those matches will advance to a four-way decider on December 22nd, with the winner heading to Wrestle Dynasty.

The only known finalist so far is Athena, who will represent ROH.

Jamie Hayter and Willow Nightingale are set to clash on Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision to decide AEW’s representative. Zeuxis, Persephone, Reyna Isis and Sanely will face off on Friday to determine who will represent CMLL.
