AEW’s Holiday Bash leads to show’s highest figures in four weeks

AEW’s Holiday Bash led to the show’s strongest performance over the past month.

The December 18 episode from Washington, D.C., averaged 640,000 viewers and 266,000 viewers (0.19) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Wrestlenomics and Programming Insider

The show ranked third on cable in prime time behind Jesse Watters Primetime and Gutfeld on Fox News. Dynamite outranked Hannity on Fox News, MTV’s The Challenge, and the Oklahoma vs. Michigan college basketball game.

Dynamite ranked tenth among all programming on television in the 18-49 demographic.

The viewership increase was 5% over the previous and the 18-49 audience grew by 9% with both achieving their highest level since November 20.

In the 18-49 demographic, male viewership increased by 6% with 167,000 viewers while females improved by 13% averaging 85,000.

Adults 18-34 averaged 90,000 viewers, which was up 29% from last week.

Adults 35-49 were unchanged from last week averaging 162,000 viewers.

In Canada, Dynamite averaged 78,300 viewers and 35,300 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2 and ranked eighth among sports programming on Wednesday. Last week’s figures were 81,400 and 33,400 in the demo.
