Moné and Statlander running it back.
As the 12/21 edition of AEW Collision from Hammerstein Ballroom was ongoing, during a backstage segment, Kris Statlander called out TBS Champion Mercedes Moné for a rematch at the Worlds End pay-per-view.
Statlander was in action on the night and scored a win over Penelope Ford.
Post-match, Mercedes appeared and stated that she’s feeling gracious and granted Statlander the title match. The two last met at Full Gear, where Moné bested Statlander to retain.
Coming out of Worlds End, Moné is scheduled for a double title match at Wrestle Dynasty at the Tokyo Dome. She’ll be defending the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship against RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion Mina Shirakawa.
