WWE’s new beer brand partnership sees them work closely with a name closely tied to the company’s history.
A multi-year partnership with Real American Beer was announced by WWE on Monday, linking Hulk Hogan’s new beverage venture to the brand he has long been associated with.
The partnership will provide Real American Beer with a sponsorship placement on the corner of WWE’s ring mat on each week of Monday Night Raw, starting tonight as part of the season premiere on Netflix.
Along with the deal, WWE has become a minority owner in the company.
Real American Beer, launched in 2024, describes itself as an “Easy to drink yet bold” beer, and has an intentional focus on marketing to a patriotic crowd: “It was created to fill a gap in the light beer market for an unapologetically American brand,” a press release said.
The agreement also underscores WWE’s increased interest over the past year in adding sponsorships to its on-screen presentation. It was announced last March that Prime Hydration would serve as the centerpiece ring mat sponsor for all Premium Live Events (PLE).
“We’re open for business,” Nick Khan said about the company’s sponsorship approach back in 2023. “Ring mat, ring apron, the turnbuckles, everything that can be sold, we want to explore selling it.”
