Lexis King def. TNA’s JDC to retain NXT Heritage Cup

J.D.C. crossed the line to challenge for the Cup.

With the WWE-TNA partnership being official, the latest talent to crossover was The System’s J.D.C. a.k.a. Fandango. He challenged Lexis King for the Heritage Cup trophy.

Now that King has the trophy, he did away with the rounds system that came with defending the Cup. He changed the rules to one pinfall secures the victory.

The conclusion of the bout saw King throw himself against the ropes while J.D.C. was standing on top of them. He then drove J.D.C. to the mat with a DDT to secure the victory.

The bout was JDC’s first in WWE since June 2021.
