AEW Dynamite followed the Dynasty pay-per-view with a small increase while achieving its third-largest audience of the year.

The April 9 episode from Baltimore averaged 659,000 viewers and 230,000 viewers (0.17) in the 18-49 demographic on TBS. It resulted in the show ranking fifth among prime time cable programming, which was led by the Dallas Mavericks vs. L.A. Lakers on ESPN.

Dynamite’s overall viewership rose by 11% from last week while the core demo audience grew by 7%, which were both two-week highs for the program.

The strongest growth was seen among adults 18-34, which increased from 65,000 viewers last week to 98,000 this week, and the show’s highest in that demo since February 26.

Conversely, adults 35-49 saw a 12% decline from 150,000 viewers to 132,000 viewers this week.

Dynamite included the return of The Young Bucks to the program after their appearance at the end of Dynasty and a main event with the Death Riders against The Opps.
