Following the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, this week’s edition of SmackDown Live posted the show’s highest viewership in three months.

This week’s show, promoted around a ‘Town Hall’ segment with Shane McMahon and an announcement from Daniel Bryan, averaged 2,122,000 viewers on the USA Network.

The number was up 14.5% from last week’s show and was their highest average since the week of the Superstar Shakeup on April 16th.

The Town Hall segment opened the show and led to several matches being made throughout the program. In total, they had seven matches in the two-hour slot and was headlined by Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler, which was set up during the show.
