Impact Wrestling held its first night of television tapings at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario ahead of the promotion’s move to AXS TV.

Impact Wrestling held its first night of television tapings at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario ahead of the promotion’s move to AXS TV.

The tapings featured a rematch of the main event at Bound for Glory between Brian Cage and Sami Callihan. The match, taking place inside a steel cage, saw Callihan defeat Cage to become the new Impact champion.

Following the match, Callihan was confronted by Tessa Blanchard, which is a rematch they have been building towards since Slammiversary in July. It was at Slammiversary that Callihan defeated Blanchard in the main event.

The match will air this Tuesday on the debut episode of Impact on AXS TV at 8 pm eastern.

Impact continues with another set of tapings tonight in Windsor, Ontario.
