The current Ring of Honor World Champion PCO first captured the title at one of ROH’s biggest shows of the year, Final Battle. PCO ended RUSH’s three-month reign as champion and come January 11th at ROH’s show at Center Stage in Atlanta, the two will meet once again with the ROH World Title on the line.
PCO was recently spotlighted in a detailed piece by Mike Mooneyham of The Post and Courier. PCO talked about his character and how he feels there are still layers that he can expand on within Ring of Honor. He shared that he and ROH are on good terms and are working on finalizing a new contract. He added that he’s sure he’ll extend his deal and it’s just a matter of time.
“We’re on good terms. We’re finalizing a new contract. ROH has shown tremendous confidence in me, and we have a great relationship. I’m sure we’ll extend the contract. It’s just a matter of time. There are some very good people running ROH. They are running it with heart, with great principles. They’re awesome people. I just think there’s a very bright future ahead for Ring of Honor.”
The Villain Enterprises member first signed with Ring of Honor in late 2018 and in one year with the company, the 52-year old PCO has captured the company’s world championship, became a Six-Man Tag Team Champion, one-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions and an NWA World Tag Team Champion via ROH’s [former] partnership with the National Wrestling Alliance.
PCO will clash with RUSH twice next week as on January 11th, they’ll meet for the ROH World Title and on January 12th at Honor Reigns Supreme, Villain Enterprises (PCO, Marty Scurll and Brody King) will defend their Six-Man Tag Titles versus RUSH, Kenny King and the ROH World Television Champion Dragon Lee.
