After being out of action since the September 18th episode of NXT on-which he lost the North American Championship to Roderick Strong, Velveteen Dream made his return to the Full Sail Arena at the conclusion of the 2/5/20 episode. After a six-man tag match between Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) and Matt Riddle, Pete Dunne and Tommaso Ciampa resulted in a disqualification, Undisputed ERA ambushed their opponents and Adam Cole was about to deliver the “Last Shot” to a beaten down Ciampa.
As Cole was setting the move up, the lights in the building went out and when they cut back on, Velveteen Dream was standing on the top rope and he jumped off and landed on Undisputed ERA. Dream began to take the fight to Roderick Strong as the show went off the air.

Charlotte Flair made her return to NXT and she confronted Bianca Belair. Charlotte did not get the chance to answer Rhea Ripley’s WrestleMania challenge because both Belair and Ripley left Charlotte Flair laying in the ring after Flair took a verbal shot at Belair. Bianca and Rhea are set to go one-on-one for the NXT Women’s Championship at TakeOver: Portland.
