Rip Oliver Passes Away

Pacific Northwest legend Rip Oliver has passed away.

Cauliflower Alley Club made the announcement that multi-time NWA Pacific Northwest Champion Rip Oliver passed away today at 67-years old. Oliver entered hospice care recently due to end-stage heart failure. Over the years, Rip Oliver suffered several heart attacks and his condition did not improve since those incidents.

Rip Oliver was a staple in the Pacific Northwest, winning multiple championships. After obtaining many accolades in the PNW, he began working with the WWF in 1987 and went by the name “Super Ninja”. Oliver worked with the likes of Ultimate Warrior, Rocky Johnson, Billy Jack Haynes, William Regal and Curt Hennig.

After a three year run in WWF, he left the company and returned to the Pacific Northwest. Rip Oliver’s last match took place in November of 1990 for Pacific Northwest.

POST Wrestling would to send our condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Rip Oliver.
