Monday’s episode of Raw featured several updates for the Money in the Bank event including the WWE Championship match that will air on Sunday, May 10th.
Following last week’s show-closing attack by Seth Rollins, WWE champion Drew McIntyre issued the challenge to defend the title against Rollins at the pay-per-view, which was accepted later in the show.
Raw featured three men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying matches for the ‘Climb the Corporate Ladder’ concept. Aleister Black defeated Austin Theory, Apollo Crews pinned MVP, and Rey Mysterio defeated Murphy as those three will join Daniel Bryan in the match. King Corbin will take on Drew Gulak on SmackDown this week in another qualifying match.
The women’s Money in the Bank match currently features Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, Asuka, and Dana Brooke. There will a qualifying match this Friday on SmackDown with Sasha Banks vs. Lacey Evans.
