WWE set up the card for the August 7th edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. Matt Riddle will be in action on the show as he’ll meet Sheamus in singles competition. King Corbin will also be in action as he’ll face Jeff Hardy one-on-one. Riddle is currently in a feud with King Corbin, and Sheamus is in the middle of a series of matches with Jeff Hardy.
It was also announced that Sonya Deville is appearing on ‘The Dirt Sheet’ with John Morrison and The Miz to discuss her attack on Mandy Rose during last week’s SmackDown. Adding on to the lineup is a new Firefly Fun House segment. To close out last week’s show, after attempting to console Nikki Cross after falling short in her SmackDown Women’s Title match, Alexa Bliss was pushed down by Nikki. When Cross left the ring, Bliss was choked out by “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.
