AEW Dynamite held their weekly show tonight on TNT with fans in attendance at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville. During the first hour of the show, Hangman Page prevented The Young Bucks from advancing in their tag team turmoil match which could’ve secured them a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships at All Out. When Nick and Matt Jackson confronted Page about it backstage, Matt tossed a drink in his face and kicked Page out of The Elite.

Cruiserweight Classic competitor Sean Maluta debuted on Dynamite in a singles match against Lance Archer. Maluta was defeated by Archer in the match.

To promote Thunder Rosa challenging Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out, footage provided by the National Wrestling Alliance was shown on TV and Billy Corgan voiced over a portion of the video package.

Excalibur has not appeared on Dynamite since footage of him surfaced from years ago at a PWG show saying the “n” word. Excalibur did call the action for AEW Dark prior to Dynamite going live.

Towards the conclusion of Dynamite, Anna Jay and Evil Uno offered Taynara the opportunity to join Dark Order. Taynara and Anna Jay teamed together in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Cup tournament.

Big Swole outlasted Rebel and Penelope Ford in a Handicap match on Dynamite and now, she’ll have the opportunity to face Britt Baker any time she wants. While on the topic of All Out, a new match was added to the lineup as Matt Cardona, Scorpio Sky, Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall will take on Dark Order (Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana, Stu Grayson & Evil Uno).

On next week’s Dynamite, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will be in action against MJF’s “lawyer”. Santana and Ortiz are taking on Best Friends (Chuckie T & Trent). Ahead of his match against Orange Cassidy at All Out, Chris Jericho will face Joey Janela and there will also be an eight-man tag match as Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) & S.C.U.
