Near-60 year veteran of the pro wrestling business, “Bullet” Bob Armstrong (Joseph James) has passed away. His passing was announced by his son, WWE producer Scott Armstrong on social media.

Bob Armstrong began his wrestling career in the 60s and lasted decades into the 90s. “Bullet” Bob was active on the independent scene in the years following, going on to compete for TNA with his son Brian “Road Dogg” James.
Armstrong had a retirement tour in 2018 that included appearances and a match at the ‘Arn Anderson Homecoming’ show in Rome, Georgia. His tour came to an end in 2019 when he wrestled for the last time in Alabama.
Armstrong is a multi-time NWA champion in multiple territories and he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2011.
